George has a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Texas – Austin and a M.S. in Mathematics from Texas State University. George joined JSC in 2003 as a PRA analyst with SAIC supporting the advanced projects division (NX). In that position he worked on the SLI program, Lunar Surface Systems and the Orbital Space Plane (OSP) program. He became a civil servant in 2006 working in the Shuttle and Exploration Division of JSC’s Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate. Currently, George is the Orion Project PRA and R&M lead. He is responsible for all PRA, FMEA/CIL and R&M activities for the Orion Project.
